Apply for Permittee Status
Your first step towards Membership
Permittee Status is the first step toward full membership with NABET 700-M Unifor. Permittees may be hired on signatory productions after all available Members have been considered, helping support film, television, and digital media productions across Ontario.
Applications are accepted year-round from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and foreign nationals with a valid work permit.
What You’ll Need to Apply
Before submitting, make sure all documents are clear, legible, and saved as PDF files.
Prepare
1. Permittee Application Form
Complete and include with your application.
2. Resume
Show relevant work experience for the department you are applying to.
Get Certified
3. Supervisor Health & Safety Certificate
Required certification from the Ministry of Labour.
4. Worker Health & Safety Certificate
Required certification from the Ministry of Labour.
5. NABETiquette Certificate
Complete the course before submitting your application.
