NABETiquette Course Overview
NABETiquette is a mandatory etiquette and protocol course required for individuals who wish to join NABET 700-M Unifor.
This two-hour session is led by our President, Samantha Rice, and is designed to introduce the standards, expectations, and professional conduct required when working under a union agreement.
During NABETiquette, participants will learn:
What it means to be part of a union – including the responsibilities, benefits, and professional standards expected of NABET 700-M permittees.
How to make oneself available for work – understanding proper communication, availability protocols, and how to position oneself professionally within the hiring process.
On-set literature and documentation – including how to read and understand call sheets and other essential production documents.
Professional etiquette on set – appropriate conduct, communication, and representation as a union member.
The course concludes with an open Q&A session. NABETiquette ensures that all incoming members begin their journey with a strong understanding of professionalism, union values, and on-set readiness.
