At this time, COVID-19 protocols are scaled back, and proof of vaccination status is not required to work on most productions. This is subject to change depending on the resurgence of COVID-19. Each production is responsible for implementing its own COVID-19 policies and procedures, which may include a vaccination policy, if necessary, to ensure the safety of the cast and crew.
Please note that the union is not involved in crewing/hiring apprentices; therefore, we won’t be able to provide a timeline for when/if a production company will hire apprentices. The selection process and the number of days and hours an apprentice works on set will depend on what is agreed upon with Production and the Head of Department.
