Transgender Day of Visibility

March 11, 2024

As we approach March 31st, we are reminded of the significance of International Trans Day of Visibility. In 2009, US transgender activist Rachel Crandall of Michigan initiated this day to honor the successes and contributions of transgender individuals. This global occasion is a poignant celebration of taking a moment to recognize and honor the incredible resilience and unwavering spirit of transgender, Two-Spirit, and non-binary individuals. We celebrate their diverse identities and the countless ways they enrich our communities. It also serves as a vital reminder of the ongoing work required to cultivate inclusive spaces for the trans community.

At NABET 700-M Unifor, we embrace and accept all individuals, regardless of gender identity. We stand in solidarity with the transgender community, advocating for equality and respect for all.
